Leslie Scarlett, MD

Dr. Leslie Scarlett is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, with expertise and a passion for Oculoplastic and Aesthetic medicine.

Board-Certified Ophthalmologist

Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, Dr. Scarlett graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a degree in Microbiology. She then attended Baylor College of Medicine for her Master's degree, and Medical University of South Carolina for medical school, surgical Internship, and Ophthalmology residency. Dr. Scarlett is board certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmologists, and has received additional training and certification from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, and Oculoplastics training with Dr. Soheila Rostami. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Women in Ophthalmology, American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Charleston Ophthalmology Society.

Dr. Scarlett: Elevating Aesthetic & Ophthalmic Care

With a passion for anti-aging medicine, Dr. Scarlett brings a new vision of advanced aesthetic treatments to Waring Vision. She specializes in eyelid procedures and surgery (including both cosmetic and functional blepharoplasty), cosmetic and functional Botox for blepharospasm, cosmetic fillers, chemical peels, and lasers. She is committed to helping patients see and look their best.

Dr. Scarlett also treats a wide range of eye diseases and conditions, including dry eye disease and glaucoma, and performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Scarlett enjoys spending time with her two children and her husband, who is an ENT with Charleston ENT.

Personal Life

Dr. Scarlett lives in the Charleston area with her loving husband, a practicing ENT at Charleston ENT, and their two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, golf, skiing, and cheering for her favorite teams!
